It’s actually not that often that I do buy myself CDs, and even rarer that I buy myself pop CDs, but this evening I finally found the Smashing Pumpkins’ Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness in HMV for a decent price. I’ve been wanting to get this for years, pretty much ever since it came off the charts (cos I’m always a little behind everyone else in these things!). And after I found that I was just wandering around HMV inspecting the listening posts, as I do. And I found one that had The Stone Roses on it, which is an album I’ve heard praised many times but never had a chance to listen too. So I listened, and it seemed good, and it was on a 2 for £10 deal. And then I found Jamiroquai’s singles collection also on 2 for £10, so there went my HMV voucher from the World’s Best Boss (from when I left PwC). Feeling quite pleased with myself. These will make good additions to the coding-music collection, I feel!

Finished off moving the dynamics, hairpins, spread out the staves and added in staff separators for my psalm. Nearly there! Got something strange happening with music spacing – the only one that seems to work properly is Note Spacing, which looks fine for the notes but I’m getting some of the words running together, which Must Not Be. Going to have to tackle the forums for this one, I suspect. Wondering if this is one of the bugs they warned me about in Fin2006… maybe I should have taken their advice and ugraded…
