Started a new spread to make a special page for my affirmations I just redid, rather than having them on grotty bits of paper drifting about the place. The new pencils are lovely – marvellous rich colours and worked well over the watercolour wash I put down on the pages yesterday. Very happy with them – looking forward to trying them out on real paper (as opposed to thin Moleskine paper).

Mirin-glazed salmon from Nigella Express which I took delivery of yesterday evening. Absolutely delicious, and all of it done in literally the time it took to cook the rice. Well done, Nigella! Well done, me, too, I guess!
