Which means this site has finally gone live in its new incarnation and last six months’ worth of posts. And which most crucially means that I can (in about a week) cancel my hosting setup in Australia thereby saving myself $AU21.95 that I don’t actually have. YES! YES! YES! Dancing round the house to the Blues Brothers soundtrack in celebration. WOOOOO!

About 5 hours I think. BUT at the same time I was doing a ton of laundry and intermittently putting things away and tidying stuff, so I think it was time well spent. Good for the brain to relax a bit, eh?

Very frivolous, I know, but in my defence… 25% off! Apparently while we weren’t paying attention, Virgin-that-was (now with the ultra-stupid name of Zavvi, which probably has contributed in no small part to their downfall) has gone into receivership and are now clearing out all their stock which – kind souls – included Okami for Wii, which was on my Christmas list. YAY!

I guess this was kind of inevitable after yesterday’s post, but is notable in that I didn’t shilly-shally around – for fear of Second Sock Syndrome, I thought it best to just leap straight into it. The challenge is to see how quickly I can finish Sock No. 2 off now that I actually (sort of) know what I’m doing…
